How we engineer engagement

Bento pairs members with a health engagement plan optimized for their specific disease and social risk factors. Included in each plan are medically-tailored grocery orders created by our Registered Dietitians.
This includes items from the whole store: fresh produce, lean proteins like fish and chicken, snacks, spices, oils, and pantry items.*
Step 2

Members choose groceries each week and realize it’s convenient, customized, and quick. They know Bento is reliable, easy to use, and stigma-free. This grows trust.

Trust leads to deeper engagement with services like nutrition coaching and care navigation.

Our Services

Medically Tailored Groceries

This is the foundation of our program, and is available to each enrolled member at no cost to them. Each grocery order is tailored to members’ medical conditions, and delivered from local grocery stores.

Nutrition Coaching

Our Registered Dietitians develop recipes, cooking tips, and other nutrition content for all members to allow them to get the most from their grocery orders.

Additionally, we offer one-on-one coaching for plans that want to go deeper.

Care Navigation

Health starts with access to quality nutrition, but it doesn’t end there. We offer one-on-one care navigation to plans that want to help members keep up with PCP appointments, medications, and help them engage more deeply with their existing plan resources.
