Easy 6-ingredient Chili

Ingredients

1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes

1 (15 ounce) can low sodium kidney beans, drained 

1 (15 ounce) can low sodium black beans, drained

1 pound lean ground beef

2 tablespoons chili powder, or more to taste

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes.

  2. Stir in kidney beans, black beans, and diced tomato. Bring to a boil and stir in chili powder. 

  3. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15 minutes. Season to taste with pepper as desired.
